California Licensed HEDIS Nurse
Job Summary
To support quality initiatives, the full-time California Licensed HEDIS Nurse will review medical records, conduct outreach to members and providers, and ensure accurate data collection for HEDIS reporting in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Abstract clinical data from medical records according to NCQA guidelines and internal procedures
- Communicate with members and providers to improve care quality and document interactions as specified
- Coordinate with HEDIS staff to update and track medical records for reporting purposes
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience or Technical Degree
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required
- 2-3 years of related experience
- 0-1 years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices in the healthcare field
