California Licensed HIM Coding Supervisor
Job Summary
To support the HIM department's goals, the full-time California Licensed HIM Coding Supervisor will oversee HIM Coders, ensuring they meet or exceed DNFB targets while managing responsibilities in the absence of the Manager, HIM Coding & CDI, all in a 100% remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise HIM Coders to achieve departmental performance metrics
- Assist in management duties when the Manager is unavailable
- Collaborate with the team to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of lead or supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Credentialed Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Accredited Health Information Technician (RHIT)
