California Licensed Home Loan Processor
Job Summary
Experienced California Licensed Home Loan Processors will find a remote, hourly opportunity focused on managing mortgage transactions, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while processing loan files accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate with Members, Home Loan Advisors, and Vendors regarding loan processing
- Review and evaluate credit documentation for compliance and update the Loan Origination System (LOS) accordingly
- Maintain knowledge of state and federal laws related to credit union compliance and manage the loan pipeline to meet service levels
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma
- 2+ years of mortgage lending or processing experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of FNMA, G1CU equity products, and related investor guidelines
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance including BSA, RESPA, TILA, TRID, and AML laws
- Experience with Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
