California Licensed Home Loan Processor
Job Summary
To support a growing home loan operations team, the full-time California Licensed Home Loan Processor will manage mortgage transactions, coordinate communication with members and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely in California.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate information related to loan processing with members, Home Loan Advisors, and vendors
- Review and calculate income and asset verification from documentation, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines
- Manage the loan pipeline to meet service levels, efficiency standards, and loan quality requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; additional work experience may substitute for education
- At least 2 years of mortgage lending or processing experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of state and federal laws related to credit union compliance, including BSA, RESPA, TILA, and TRID
- Experience with Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Knowledge of FNMA and related investor guidelines
