Offering a flexible schedule, the part-time California Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families in the San Fernando, Simi Valley, and Burbank areas, practicing independently while receiving support from a dedicated team.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia services to pets in a comfortable environment
- Manage a self-scheduled workload, ensuring adequate time for each appointment without rushing
- Provide emotional support and guidance to families during difficult end-of-life decisions
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to undergo license verification, background check, and driving record review
- Flexibility to choose weekend availability based on personal schedule
