California Licensed HR Generalist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic HR team, the full-time remote California Licensed HR Generalist will conduct workplace investigations, advise managers on performance issues, and manage complex leave and accommodation matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for employee relations concerns, conducting investigations and preparing summaries and recommendations
• Advise managers on performance management, documentation, and policy application, ensuring consistent HR practices
• Provide advanced support for complex leave and workplace accommodation matters, coordinating the interactive process as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience in complex employee relations environments
• Strong working knowledge of California employment law, particularly in leave administration and workplace accommodations
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and advising on corrective actions
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, including Paycom, and ATS platforms, such as Workable or similar systems
