Job Summary
Supporting leave administration and benefits in a remote capacity, the California Licensed HR Specialist will manage employee leaves of absence, serve as a resource for HR inquiries, and ensure compliance with employment laws in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer employee leaves of absence from intake through return-to-work, including various state and local leave programs
- Serve as a resource for employees by answering HR, leave, and benefits-related questions
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee inquiries
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- Experience administering FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and other leave programs
- Benefits administration experience, including employee support and reporting
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
