California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while working closely with patients, providers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Collaborate with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
• Experience in management, administrative, or customer service roles preferred but not required
• Proficient computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems being a plus
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
