California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient access to care, the remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable
• Coordinate with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation for timely care

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
• Experience in management, administrative, insurance, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare organizations or medical supply environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
