California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the remote California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Work with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation while maintaining accurate patient information in electronic systems

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
• Experience within a healthcare organization, pharmacy, or medical supply environment is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
