California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient access to care, the full-time California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure the accurate setup of services, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance before service delivery
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Collaborate with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or medical supply environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
