California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient access to care, the full-time California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable
• Coordinate with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation for timely care

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
• Experience within a healthcare organization, pharmacy, or medical supply environment is preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
