California Licensed Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the full-time California Licensed Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibility and collect payments as applicable
• Coordinate with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, or customer service roles preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or medical supply environments is a plus
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
