California Licensed Litigation Attorney

Job Summary

Offering a flexible remote opportunity, the part-time Contract Litigation Attorney will manage complex litigation and counseling matters for clients in the outdoor recreation, sports, hospitality, and resort industries, averaging 20 to 30 hours per week over an initial 6 to 8 month term.

Key responsibilities

• Support existing client matters with a steady pipeline of work in complex liability and catastrophic injury cases
• Collaborate directly with an established partner to enhance client relationships and deliver high-quality legal services
• Engage in legal writing, including motion practice and pretrial filings, while taking ownership of assigned matters

Required qualifications

• Active California bar license and residence in California
• 7+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in complex commercial, liability, or catastrophic injury matters
• Strong legal writing skills, particularly in motion practice and pretrial filings
• Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to manage cases with a high degree of ownership
• Interest in serving clients in the outdoor recreation, sports, hospitality, and resort sectors
