California Licensed Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of consumer litigation and warranty disputes, the full-time California Licensed Litigation Counsel will assess legal risks, develop resolution strategies, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage consumer litigation, warranty, and lemon law matters, providing strategic direction and overall case management
• Direct and oversee outside counsel on litigation strategy, discovery activities, and settlement recommendations
• Evaluate legal and business risks associated with assigned matters and provide practical recommendations to business stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) required
• Active membership in the California State Bar required
• 6+ years of experience as an attorney in litigation, dispute resolution, or consumer protection matters
• In-house legal experience within the automotive, manufacturing, or consumer products industry preferred
• Experience handling consumer litigation, warranty, and lemon law matters preferred
