California Licensed Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary

Supporting a growing California Staff Counsel team, the remote California Licensed Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with legal document preparation, client interviews, and discovery tasks while working in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assists attorneys in answering interrogatories and preparing legal documents such as motions and briefs
• Obtains and summarizes medical records, coordinating necessary medical examinations
• Prepares documents and evidence for trial and interviews witnesses as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year Associate's Degree or 3 years of paralegal experience preferred
• Paralegal certificate or a degree in paralegal studies, or completion of at least one year of law school
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree; Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Minimum one year of experience working in a civil litigation law firm preferred
