California Licensed Loan Officer Assistant

Job Summary

Managing assigned residential mortgage loan pipelines, the full-time California Licensed Loan Officer Assistant will support the timely progression of loans from application through closing while working remotely within Pacific Time zone hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively manage loan files and tasks from initiation through resolution, ensuring smooth communication with all parties involved
• Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements while identifying outstanding conditions that may impact timelines
• Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain accurate loan records

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of mortgage industry experience in a relevant role
• Experience with Conventional, VA, and Jumbo loans preferred
• Mortgage originator license preferred
• Proficiency with Encompass or similar systems preferred
