Job Summary
To support the Consumer Direct Lending Operations, the full-time California Licensed Loan Processor will manage the end-to-end processing of consumer loan applications remotely, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional member service while handling a high volume of loan-related inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with state and federal laws related to credit union operations, including auditing loan documents for accuracy
- Effectively manage inbound and outbound loan-related calls while processing loan applications and preparing necessary documentation
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate the loan application process and identify potential fraud or suspicious activities
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; some college preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced call center or loan processing environment with direct consumer contact
- Experience in consumer loan processing is preferred
