California Licensed Looker Architect
Job Summary
To support a scalable Business Intelligence ecosystem, the full-time California Licensed Looker Architect will manage and enhance LookML models, administer the Looker platform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance LookML models, dashboards, and reporting assets for accuracy and performance
- Administer the Looker platform, including user access, permissions, and system health monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data issues in collaboration with Data Engineering and business stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development and administration
- Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of relational data modeling
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
