Job Summary

Leading the legal strategy for data center acquisitions, the full-time California Licensed Managing Counsel will negotiate complex transactions and manage long-term infrastructure relationships, with remote work options available.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end legal strategy for data center acquisitions and digital infrastructure transactions, including diligence and deal structuring
• Negotiate various lease agreements and development contracts related to data center operations
• Manage long-term legal relationships with data center operators, financing sources, and customers

Required qualifications

• At least 10 years of direct legal experience with data center providers or similar entities
• Experience negotiating complex leases or colocation agreements, particularly with single-tenant facilities
• Proven track record of leading sophisticated transactions across business and technical teams
• Ability to negotiate technical terms related to compute infrastructure and utilities
• J.D. and active bar admission required, with a preference for a mix of law firm and in-house experience
