Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time California Licensed Medical Biller will manage the complete billing cycle for dermatology clients, including verifying insurance eligibility, handling denials, and tracking accounts receivable, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for dermatology patients
• Manage rejected or denied claims by identifying root causes and appealing as necessary
• Monitor aging reports and reconcile accounts receivable to ensure timely payments

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of dermatology billing/accounts receivable experience
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, DRG, CPT, and modifiers; coding certification is a plus
• Proficiency with billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Clear and professional communication skills with providers, payers, and patients
