Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Medical Director, the part-time remote-first position will manage clinical supervision for nurse practitioners, ensure compliance with medical protocols, and participate in governance while maintaining an existing practice.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise standardized procedures and provide clinical support to nurse practitioners via RingCentral
- Conduct weekly clinician huddles and monthly chart reviews to maintain quality of care
- Oversee compliance with necessary physician sign-offs and maintain enrollment with various payers
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California MD or DO license with DEA registration
- Board certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or infectious disease
- No exclusions or sanctions and a clean malpractice history
- Experience with LGBTQ+ health, HIV/PrEP, or gender-affirming care preferred
- Proficiency in using modern tools such as Rippling and RingCentral
