Job Summary
Providing medical oversight for clinical trials, the part-time California Licensed Medical Director will review safety and efficacy data, assess serious adverse events, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee study integrity, enrollment, timelines, and key clinical deliverables in collaboration with Clinical Operations
- Review, interpret, and communicate emerging safety and efficacy data throughout clinical studies
- Provide medical guidance and training to investigators, site personnel, and clinical study teams
Required qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent non-U.S. medical degree with specialization in Hematology or relevant therapeutic specialty
- 5+ years of relevant clinical/medical experience, including clinical trial oversight and medical monitoring
- Independent medical monitoring experience with a focus on Acute Leukemia and/or Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and pharmacovigilance principles
- U.S. residency training strongly preferred; subspecialty fellowship desirable
