California Licensed Medical Staff Director
Job Summary
Providing leadership and direction, the full-time California Licensed Medical Staff Director will oversee all department activities, develop and implement operational plans, and ensure quality service outcomes, while working remotely with occasional on-site meetings as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement plans to meet customer needs and ensure quality service outcomes for medical staff office functions
- Establish rapport with Medical Staff and Administrative Leaders to develop and revise Policies & Procedures, Credentialing, and Goals and Objectives
- Manage the medical staff operational and capital budget in accordance with hospital policy
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in medical staff/credentialing
- 3+ years of supervisory and management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
