California Licensed Medical Technologist Supervisor

Job Summary

To ensure high-quality work and timely completion of tasks, the full-time California Licensed Medical Technologist Supervisor will manage day-to-day staffing, oversee sample processing, and ensure compliance with departmental goals while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for staffing, scheduling, and setting up sample run schedules to meet production goals
• Monitors case processing and turnaround times, identifying issues and collaborating with managers to prevent future incidents
• Oversees training for new hires and conducts performance reviews while maintaining team morale and professionalism

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory environment
• BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences or a related field, or equivalent
• Current ASCP board certification in Medical Technology or California State CLS or CGMBS license
