California Licensed Mortgage Processor
Job Summary
Working fully remote, the California Licensed Mortgage Processor will review new loan applications, prepare compliance disclosures for single-family properties, and support the Residential Loan Consultant and underwriting teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review and ensure all loan application documentation is complete before submission to underwriting
- Prepare and send regulatory compliance disclosures within required timeframes
- Assist in pipeline planning and provide support to various departments throughout the loan processing lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or related financial institution
- Experience with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry regulations
- Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations, including RESPA and Reg Z
- Must be in good standing under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (Safe Act) and registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
