Job Summary
To support a growing mortgage lending team, the remote California Licensed Non-QM Trainer will build and deliver training on Non-QM products, assist loan officers in structuring and submitting complete loans, and develop training materials while collaborating with branch managers.
Key responsibilities
- Train loan officers on Non-QM products and investor guidelines, ensuring they understand key differences and updates
- Assist loan officers in structuring and submitting complete loan packages, providing guidance on income calculation and documentation requirements
- Develop and maintain training materials, tracking common challenges to improve training effectiveness and reporting results to leadership
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in mortgage lending, with at least 3 years in Non-QM
- Deep knowledge of DSCR, bank statement, and asset-based qualification processes
- Experience with multiple Non-QM investors and their guidelines
- A track record of teaching or supporting loan originators in a relevant role
- Ability to create training content and present effectively in various formats
