California Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a short-term clinical data review project, the full-time California Licensed Nurse Practitioner will review de-identified inpatient health records to verify the accuracy of pre-populated answers to structured clinical questions while working remotely for a duration of four weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Verify answers against de-identified hospital records and mark them as correct, incomplete, or unsupported
- Correct inaccuracies by entering the correct answers from the chart along with brief explanations
- Utilize independent judgment to ensure accuracy while following detailed guidelines and maintaining a steady pace
Required qualifications
- Active, unencumbered U.S. NP license in good standing with current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
- At least 3 years of inpatient practice experience within the last 5 years
- Experience with independent ordering and interpretation of lab results
- Hands-on experience with inpatient EHRs, including clinical notes and lab flowsheets
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field
