Job Summary

To support a growing teletherapy initiative, the part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide remote occupational therapy services, collaborate with licensed therapists, and help clients improve their functional abilities through virtual platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote occupational therapy interventions, including exercises and activities to assist patients in achieving their goals
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to enhance independence and well-being
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards

Required qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Active California State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License or ability to apply
• Experience in a clinical, private practice, hospital, or home health setting
• Technical proficiency for conducting teletherapy
• Experience working with pediatric clients (18 months and older), particularly in feeding, sensory, and emotional regulation
