Key responsibilities
- Provide second opinions on disability claims and address complex medical scenarios
- Utilize evidence-based guidelines and clinical resources for informed determinations
- Conduct peer reviews while managing a flexible schedule and workload
Required qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Medical License in the practice state
- Board Certification in both Occupational Medicine and Pain Management
- Experience in disability evaluations and peer review preferred
- Familiarity with the California Independent Medical Review (IMR) process is a plus
