California Licensed Paralegal Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Paralegal Instructor, the part-time position will develop and deliver online course materials for the Paralegal Certificate Program, utilizing the Canvas Learning Management System while engaging with students and evaluating their performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update course syllabi and deliver online course materials in assigned formats
• Evaluate student achievement and assign grades while responding to student inquiries in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations and complete administrative tasks related to course management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Extensive background and current work experience in the legal field as either a practicing paralegal or attorney
• Proficiency in (or willingness to learn) the use of instructional technology and online teaching tools
• Current knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in subject area
• Commitment to the highest level of academic standards and integrity
