California Licensed Part-time Faculty

Job Summary

To support the Department of Teacher Education, the part-time California Licensed Faculty in Inspired Teaching and Learning will provide timely feedback to students, maintain an inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with faculty to enhance program quality while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive student-centric learning environment
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services to support their success

Required qualifications

• Minimum master's degree in education or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
• Current and active California Single Subject Teaching Credential
• 5+ years of secondary classroom teaching experience in a Single Subject area
• 3+ years of recent secondary classroom teaching demonstrating current knowledge of instructional practices and student engagement strategies
• Experience mentoring or supporting teacher candidates or beginning teachers
