California Licensed Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support patients receiving Specialty Infusion Services, the remote California Licensed Patient Access Specialist will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and facilitate communication among various teams to ensure a seamless transition into care.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Creates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals while securing upfront payment and directing patients to financial assistance programs
• Supports activities for clean claims management and assists supervisors with special assignments as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of related experience required
• Previous healthcare or medical billing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple referrals simultaneously
• Strong customer service skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
