Seeking an experienced California Licensed Payroll Specialist, the full-time remote role will manage complex multi-state payroll processing, ensure compliance with payroll regulations, and support payroll integrations for acquisitions while being bilingual in English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple companies and states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including California wage and hour laws
- Support payroll integrations and transitions for newly acquired companies
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience
- Bilingual in English / Spanish is required
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and wage and hour laws
- Experience with payroll systems such as BambooHR or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
- California payroll experience strongly preferred
