Job Summary
Empowering youth and young adults, the part-time California Licensed Peer Support Specialist will deliver structured wellness coaching, conduct mental health screenings, and facilitate goal-setting in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide structured wellness coaching and individualized care plans to support behavioral change
- Conduct mental health screenings and monitor user progress while facilitating referrals as needed
- Moderate user-submitted content to ensure compliance with policy and safeguard user engagement
Required qualifications
- Current, valid Peer Support Specialist certification in California or nationally recognized equivalent
- Minimum education: GED or High School diploma
- Competency or experience in peer support and providing emotional/behavioral support
- Permanently reside within the 48 contiguous United States
- Preferred: experience with crisis support services or related volunteer work
