California Licensed People & Culture Specialist

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day employee relations, leave, and accommodation processes, the full-time California Licensed People & Culture Specialist will serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees, handling complex workplace concerns and driving People & Culture initiatives remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the employee relations process, including issue assessment, investigations, and documentation
• Advise managers on performance and conduct issues while promoting coaching and development
• Oversee leave and accommodation matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and coordinating the interactive process

Required qualifications

• At least five years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
• Demonstrated experience conducting employee relations investigations and advising on workplace concerns
• Hands-on experience with leave and accommodation processes, including ADA and FMLA
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment practices, particularly in California and other jurisdictions
