Job Summary
To support a high-volume call center, a full-time California Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage inbound calls, process prior authorization requests, and maintain accurate documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members, providing assistance throughout the prior authorization process
- Manage high work volumes involving inbound calls, fax requests, and ePA requests while ensuring professional communication
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of prior authorization reviews and communicate status to internal teams
Required qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license or certification in good standing
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a high-volume call center environment
- At least 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an administrative capacity
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
