California Licensed Physician Assistant
Job Summary
To support a seasonal urgent care practice, a full-time California Licensed Physician Assistant will provide remote telemedicine services during overnight shifts, treating a variety of patients and managing urgent care issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care medicine during eight-hour shifts, treating 4 patients per hour
- Manage a full spectrum of care from newborns to geriatrics, addressing issues such as weight loss, GLP-1's, Flu, and RSV
- Utilize EMR systems for patient documentation and ensure compliance with prescription regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies
- Active and in good standing California Medical License
- DEA Certificate in good standing
- One year or more of relevant urgent care or emergency medicine experience
