Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Plastic Surgeon, the part-time independent contractor will conduct remote, evidence-based medical reviews and utilization assessments, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct independent, evidence-based medical reviews and utilization reviews
- Review patient records and related documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines
- Provide objective, high-quality reports within established turnaround timelines
Required qualifications:
- Active board certification in Plastic Surgery
- Current, unrestricted U.S. state medical license; California licensure preferred
- Engaged in clinical practice for 20 hours/week or more
- Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred but not required
- Strong written communication skills for clear documentation of findings
