Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Probate Paralegal, the part-time remote contractor will manage probate matters from estate opening through final distribution, prepare and draft legal documents, and communicate with clients and court personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and draft probate petitions, pleadings, and related court filings
- Manage probate matters from opening an estate through final distribution and closing
- Draft and revise estate planning documents, including wills and trusts
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Probate Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Extensive experience handling probate administration from opening to closing
- Strong understanding of probate court procedures and filing requirements
- Experience drafting probate pleadings and estate planning documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
