Job Summary
To support and lead production design efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, the full-time California Licensed Production Designer will manage a CAD team, ensuring high-quality engineering drawings and models while collaborating with engineers and project managers, with the option to work remotely from various locations in California.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the CAD team in producing engineering drawings and models for water and wastewater projects
- Implement best practices for CAD design to enhance productivity and quality
- Mentor and train Production Design staff, providing technical guidance and support
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Technical Certificate preferred
- 8+ years of design experience with proven mastery of Production Designer III duties
- 5+ years of experience in water, wastewater, or similar civil infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with CAD applications, including Civil 3D and Revit
- Strong understanding of industry design standards related to water and wastewater infrastructure
