Job Summary
To support the advancement of mathematics education in California, the full-time California Licensed Program Officer will oversee professional learning initiatives, manage grant processes, and engage stakeholders while working remotely within the state.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the California Mathematics Alignment Project and manage related professional learning and research initiatives
- Conduct outreach and develop strategic communications to engage prospective grant applicants and participants
- Provide technical assistance to grantees and manage the entire RFP process from launch to grant award facilitation
Required qualifications
- Minimum of eight years of experience in research, program development, and communications
- Experience with strategic communications and public higher education systems in California
- Understanding of K-12 education systems and experience working with faculty and teachers
- Knowledge of policy and research related to mathematics education in California
- Experience developing and implementing funding opportunities or RFPs
