California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To provide high-quality mental health care, the full-time California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and manage psychiatric disorders using a combination of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adults and older adults with mental health disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while maintaining an active intake schedule
- Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient care and initiate referrals for interventional psychiatry when appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration and current BLS certification
- Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California
- Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities is highly preferred
