California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care, the full-time California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and manage psychiatric disorders using a combination of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation techniques in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adults and older adults with mental health disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychiatric disorders using various therapeutic approaches
• Collaborate with the Care Coordination team to ensure optimal patient care and facilitate referrals for interventional psychiatry

Required Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
• Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Active DEA registration and current BLS certification
• Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California
• Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities is preferred
