Job Summary

To enhance the quality of care within the psychiatric network, the full-time remote Psychiatric Complaints & Grievances Specialist will manage the clinical review and resolution of psychiatric complaints, investigate cases, and provide direct patient care while collaborating closely with the Psych Clinical Quality team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews and resolve psychiatric complaints and grievances, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution
• Investigate cases through chart reviews and provider outreach, identifying recurring patterns for quality improvement
• Provide direct patient care for a small panel, applying firsthand experience to enhance the complaints-and-grievances pathway

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license with a minimum of 3 years of outpatient psychiatric practice and valid CA DEA registration
• 3+ years of experience in remote telehealth psychiatric care, understanding the unique considerations of this practice
• 1+ years in quality improvement, chart audit, or peer coaching roles, with experience delivering feedback to psychiatric providers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering empathic feedback and maintaining clinical standards
• Proficiency in modern EHR and clinical workflow platforms, with a strong technical aptitude for learning new systems
