California Licensed QA Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, a California Licensed QA Engineer will validate and improve in-house developed software by designing and maintaining automated test frameworks in Java and Python, integrating them into CI/CD processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and ensure quality is represented from the start of development stories
- Build and maintain automated tests for web UI, REST APIs, and databases, ensuring high standards for test code
- Own regression suites, manage test coverage, and ensure tests run in CI/CD after every deployment
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in software QA, including 5+ years of experience in writing test automation
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python for automation
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools like Playwright or Selenium
- API testing experience using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
