Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time California Licensed QME Attorney will prepare for and conduct Qualified Medical Evaluator depositions in workers' compensation cases while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review assigned case files prior to depositions to assess case status and explore resolution opportunities
  • Prepare deposition strategies and questions by analyzing case files and identifying key issues
  • Conduct QME depositions, manage exhibits, and document key testimony and outstanding issues
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in California
  • 1+ years of experience litigating workers' compensation cases, including taking QME/AME depositions
  • Working knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and deposition practice
  • Prior experience as an associate attorney in a workers' compensation defense or applicant firm is a plus
