Job Summary
To maintain a timely revenue cycle, the full-time California Licensed RCM Specialist will manage billing processes, communicate with patients and providers regarding payment inquiries, and ensure compliance with payer requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect on accounts by sending bills and following up with payers via various communication methods
- Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries, including escalated issues and disputes
- Submit daily claims for eligible status claims and promptly resolve claim rejections
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- Experience in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment
- Completion of state-approved training for California Department of Public Health Exemptee License is required
