Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the remote California Licensed Registered Dietitian will conduct diet and lifestyle counseling sessions, analyze patient assessments, and collaborate with healthcare teams while working as an independent contractor during evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze intake assessments, including medical history and dietary habits, to inform patient care
- Conduct virtual diet and lifestyle counseling sessions, providing tailored advice and support
- Maintain accurate patient records and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Open to feedback and eager to learn, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in a virtual setting
- Technical proficiency with EMR systems and virtual communication tools
- Prior experience in nutrition counseling or telemedicine is a plus but not required
