Job Summary
Supporting the sales process to retain and grow business, the full-time California Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will develop renewal strategies, negotiate terms with insurance carriers, and conduct market research while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement renewal strategies based on client risk profiles and market conditions
- Engage with insurance carriers to negotiate favorable renewal terms and place policies
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to align placement efforts with business objectives
Required qualifications
- Property and Casualty License from state of domicile required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in risk placement initiatives for new and renewal business
- College degree preferred
- Insurance designations (e.g., CPRM, CPRIA, CISR, CIC, CPCU) are preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
